DESCRIPTION:

A 1 Day Tsavo East safari is a full day trip that starts early in the morning at dawn and ends at dusk. This 1 day safari to tsavo east is a short safari where you will have about five to six hours on game drives looking for animals and birds while also enjoying the spectacular red colored landscapes of Tsavo East national park. This Wild Kenya Safaris day trip starts from Mombasa, Diani Beach and also other areas on the Kenya coast.

1 DAY TSAVO EAST SAFARI ITINERARY: 

​

We pick you up from your Hotel at about 5:00am and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi highway towards Tsavo East National Park. Upon arrival at the parks Bachuma Gate, we begin your first game drive searching for the maneless lions of Tsavo, big cats, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, baboons, ostrich, impala and many other types of animals that call Tsavo East national park home.

 

After the morning game drive we stop for a quick lunch and a short rest at Lion Hill Safari Lodge or similar.

 

After lunch, we continue with the game viewing looking for more wildlife as we begin to exit the national park and conclude the 1 day tsavo east safari. We then drive back to your beach hotel arriving in the evening.

OUR ADVICE:

This safari departs very early in the morning so try to get some good rest the night before. Do also ask your hotel to prepare a very early morning breakfast before departing for this safari experience.
